Anybody read Dodd's Peice on Penn State hiring Franklin?

It may be the most illogical op-ed sports piece I have ever read, and I have read the Bleacher Report and at least one of Clay Travis's attention ***** trolling pieces.

Dodd says Franklin should not be hired by Penn State because of the assault case involving Vandi players - players that were kicked off of the team for an incident that was never linked in any way shape or form to Franklin.

Trash article. Franklin kicked them off immediately. Penn State just hit a homerun with this hire. Franklin is a fantastic coach.

Was he close to some deadline and had to come up with anything? I just dont see why he would think this was a good article to write. Its as if he was forced to debate something he doesnt believe in.
Over and over again he points out that Franklin did nothing wrong and everything right, yet just continues to say Penn State cant hire him.

If Penn State has to hire a coach who has no history of players breaking the law, good luck. Even hiring a coach that cant be tied to a sexual assault wouldnt be the easiest thing since its not like every coach wants the job.
