to get to 18 wins with 7 wins now and 20 games to play. So going 11-9 is out of the question. Ooookay.
Shouldn't you wait until you are guaranteed to be right before you start the "I told you so" stuff?
As young as this team is, typically they get drastically better as they get used to the speed of the game. Not saying they will but it is possible. I figure we will win 15 or 16.

The last time I looked @ the conference RPIs, the SEC was ranked 6th or 7th.
My point is, MSU is a mediocre team that will be playing equally mediocre teams once league play begins.
In a typical year when the SEC is strong, 18 wins would not be reachable for this team.
But this year, it's possible.

even if we win the last 4 non conf. We'll need to go 7-9. Fortunately, we play TN on the road so that won't take up a home loss. Florida at home is where we could lose serve.
The disappointing thing is that for 2 straight years, we've dug a huge hole for ourselves (even if you consider our goal the NIT)

I think we contribute greatly to that.
Look, I think we finish better than 500. We just don't have enough offensive fire power to come from behind if we get down. We are solid on D but when we need a big shot everybody on the court looks at each other. We don't have anyone we can lean on to start a late comeback like we have in the past.
