I don't follow soccer but I remember the own goal Andres Escobar kicked in '94 like it was yesterday. We were sitting watching the game and all the real soccer fans in the house were very somber and kept saying they'd literally kill him when he got back to Columbia. Really, a sad story about an awful time in a country's history.
