What does that have to do with anything? Bear Bryant beat a lot of really bad Mississippi State teams should those wins not count in his totals? Do you think every win Joe Paterno and Bobby Bowden had were against somebody with a winning record? Bobby Knight played every single game against a top 25 team? Every coach that has some sort of "most wins" record has beaten many many really bad teams.

and the worst teams was much much greater in women's basketball than it was in men's basketball (or football since you brought Bear Bryant into it). She definitely deserves all the credit she gets for all of her wins and for building women's basketball into what it is now. But her 1,000 wins is a lot less impressive than Bobby Knight's 902 wins is.

homecourt advantage in the NCAA tourney until their teams reached the Final Four, and they'd all have double digit National Championships.

I give credit to Pat for actually winning the games. However, the fact that the talent is not distibuted nearly as well in the women's game as in the men's takes away from the achievement somewhat.

Yeah, I guess averaging 33 wins for 33 consecutive years isn't that big of a deal. As a matter of fact, John Wooden's 10 national championships are ******** too...as the men's game was nowhere what it is today.

Hell I don't know if she's the alltime greatest coach or not...but 33 wins a year for 33 years is pretty damn impressive regardless of the level of competition.

...how many male children have her basketball players bore over the years? What good is "wins and losses" when a woman is unable or unwilling to bear children and keep house for their husband?
