Anyone else concerned Sidney is tweeting about workouts with John Lucas?

Are there any possible consequences of Sidney working out with someone not on MSU coaching staff during the season? Just sayin...

I assume John Lucas isn't doing this for his health. That makes me nervous. They are asking for someone (NCAA) to start snooping around.

If he is working with him in Starkville then it is no big deal and last I checked a hurt finger does not stop you from doing drills and conditioning.

I think the team we have now will be good with or without Sidney so if he leaves he leaves. This team revolves around Bost and Moultrie. If they are off then Bryant and Hood can pick up the slack. Lewis can give rest Moultrie with some quality minutes. Deville Smith and Jalen Steele are great off the bench. Sidney can either join the ride or get the 17 off the bus.</p>

He failed a drug test, so he got an automatic 3-game suspension and was sent to Lucas in Houston for workouts and counseling.

And yes, it is way beyond ridiculous.

I doubt it.

How can the person telling you this stuff be sure about Sidney, but not about Moultrie?

This sounds like just more gossiping from you if anybody is telling you anything at all.

If Lewis is our only big man in the game for an extended period against a decent team, things could get bad fast if our shooters are cold. Although we managed to hold it together, it almost happened against Arizona when Moultrie was in foul trouble and Sid was getting his hand worked on. You've got to love Lewis's effort and intensity, but despite his improvement he still can't score with his back to the basket and he has no jumpshot from any range. Without either Sid or Moultrie in the game with him, there is a minimal scoring threat in the low post so the defense can key on the guards, causing us to go into 3-point mode, and without Sid on the team the amount of time this situation is in play doubles. As much as some would like him gone, and as much reason there is for it, I think he's too valuable to the team right now despite it all.

I was reviewing our stats and we only have 8 players who are playing meaningful minutes for this team WITH Sidney. Take him off and we are down to 7, and that's getting really thin. If the Euro was eligible then Sidney would be much more expendable but he's not so we do really need Sidney to be able to do something special with this team especially if we in any way get hit with the injury bug. If we lose Renardo you are now talking about having to give Roquez Johnson significant minutes as a lightly recruited true freshman and that is not really a good plan.

I'd say "no.". Men are getting ready to practice after the women's game.

Of course it could be a lookalike and the conspiracy theories some of you have are true after all.

Think he knows anything about running an offense?

as he has Sidney, I don't care if he ever comes back to Starkville. I also wish he take that tub of lard with him.

He has been given more chances than any athlete I can remember and keeps coming back, with numerous problems, out of shape, and with a terrible attitude.

I will say it again, I don't know if he has a printed out list of our hotdog handouts or what, but whatever he has, it is more than enough to insure he will be a bulldog as long as HE wants to be here.
