Anyone else hearing Quay Evans...

might be ready to "shut down" his recruitment in the next couple of months? It appears as though, Taveze Calhoun, who is a good prospect in his own right, may be very helpful to our landing Quay. Quay also has a very strong and close relationship with Coach Wilson based on what I have read.

Evans would be a big time early commitment for us. And I know, nothing is firm until the ink dries on the LOI, but lets hope our staff has learned something from this years recruiting experience.

its that NOBODY'S recruitment is "shut down" until signing day. Commitments have now just become leans.

we have gotten our asses handed to us this year. This is my poor attempt to try and speed up February 3rd.

Robert Elliot committed to OM on signing day his jr. year. Some LB from Philadelphia committed to us 4 months before signing day his jr. year.

So you can see how solid these things are.

Quay Evans committed to UM two years ago didn't he. I swear I remember discussion of a HS freshman that looked like he was 32 committing to the Bears. Wasn't that Quay?

Ya'll do know Quay is Shay Hodges cousin and they are very tight not to mention the fact Duece is from Morton and goes to games all the time. Quey even stays with Shay when Shay comes home. Never say Never but since I am from Morton all the talk I hear is it will be either Bama or OM. Just thought I would pass that along. I have watched Quey play since he was in the 7th grade. Quey has always liked OM due to Shay and Duece and even does the Landshark during games. Again not saying what he will or won't do just giving out info that I have. Oh one last thing, this is for idog we will not be hiring Fedora not that I think Nutt will be gone. This signing class buys him atleast 2 more years.

He manhandled every lineman they stuck in front of him. Bama had a coach at every Morton game last fall.

I agree and see this as most likely UMiss or Bama.

Having said that, he likes Chris Wilson.

You must have been cornholed by a bull to be so ill. All I was doing was relaying info I have on Quey. I at no point badmouthed msu or anything of the such. If you are that touchy you might need to take a break from the boards for a while. </p>

However, I fully expect Ole Miss to be a major player for him as things go along. Supposedly Wilson has done an great job recruiting him. Sevendust and Steve (not the most reliable sources) seem to think there is a chance he could make an early commitment to us. If he did that, I would be shocked if he remained committed until signing day.

After this year, I have no faith in our ability to hold on to early commitments.

but I am not the one calling anyone a douchebag. Look I am from Morton where QE is from and plays high school ball. I have a little info on him and thought I would share it with ya'll since someone brought him up. If you can'tstand to have me to do that just because I am an OM fan then you have the problem. Just for info purposes my wife is a msu grad and I don't feel the need to badmouth msu out of respect for her.

I haven't heard that it was between State and Bama. i have heard Wilsons name but the people I have talked to always say OM or Bama. I refuse to ask him personally I figure he has enough other people bothering him about it.

Play high school? Thats illegal. You can't play more than 4 years of high school ball unless they have changed the rules.
