I would really like to see them annilhilated for the most part. I just can't get into this "root for the SEC" stuff right now.

I'll be rooting for TTech. I've never been a SEC-cheerleader during bowl season. It really depends on the match-up.

BTW, Ole Miss will keep it close, if not win outright.

We recruit against the SEC. To hell with all of them.

I hope they all lose.

I do want Florida to win simply because of Mullen.

Ole Miss is the lone exception. I hate them and Texas Tech is a respectable team. But the more the SEC wins the better it looks for us as well even if it helps the other schools more. It just proves that the competition level is higher and the teams are better within our league than the other conferences.

I would pull for Ole Miss only for one reason, and that is if their winning a game is the only way that MSU can win a league or division title. Otherwise, I hope they lose every game they play in every sport, because they are our chief competition for athletes in every sport, and their failure directly impacts our success.

So, "guns up".

I think they win today...i think they will be physical with Tech and that will be the difference.

will really expose their secondary. Now that I've posted that, they will have 6 INT's.

their secondary isnt great...but if you go back to the teams that beat TT are physical teams...Bama beat them in a bowl games a couple of years ago...OU beating on them this year...Nebraska had them beat and let it slip away...Mississippi will be very physical and pressure the QB to help their secondary...

I ve read a few guys on here saying they move lines almost up to 10 points? teasing a parlaying......I get the basics, bet on 3 games, must win all three......I bet on sportsbook, and I see you can do it, but I just stick with betting lines.....I was over 70% on my college games this year.....buying points can be expensive too, so i dont see how you guys are moving that many points....im just rambling here....please explain what and how you are doing it D

Of course they beat them on the last play. I think it will be close. I don't think it will be a blowout, but I think TT beats them in the end.

6 point teaser- you can move the line for either team 6 points...must be at least 2 games (which is even money). The more games you add, the more your payout increases. 3 games- 5 to win 9, 4 games- 5 wins 15...and so on...

10 point teaser- 3 games only...you move each line 10 points....bet 6.50 to win 5...must win all 3

13 point teaser- 4 games only...move it 13 points...bet 6.5 to win 5...must win all 4

did a 6 pointer with Mississippi +10 1/2 and Bammer -3

are insane. Ole Miss winning the Cotton Bowl over the 7th ranked team is bad for State. Are you unable to comprehend that? It's bad enough for us that they are there. Them winning and upsetting #7 Tech would just make it worse.

Do you even know what that means?

I'm not sure how you can't see how Ole Miss winning a bowl game hurts State in recruiting, among other things. Then again, you're the guy who thought we should give Henig a chance, so maybe your perceptive abilities are a little dulled.

The better Ole Miss does, the harder it is to recruit against them and there only so many D1 prospects in the state. So yes, recruiting-wise, it is a zero-sum-GAIN.

Success at Ole Miss and a high profile coach at MSU raises the whole state on the college football landscape. Saying State & OM can't both be good is like saying the big 3 in Florida can't all be good. Or Bama & Auburn can't both be good.

Frankly, the sooner fans like you guys stop setting the bar in Oxford, the sooner we'll leave them in the rear view mirror.

confirms you are a moron.

You are seriously comparing the talent level and population of Mississippi and Florida? Are you out of your mind?

And saying that Ole Miss' success hurts State is simply stating a fact, it has nothing to do with "setting a bar". Are you drunk? The better they do, the harder it is for us to recruit in our home state, where 90% of our players come from. Jesus, I don't even know why I'm bothering arguing with your stupid ***.

As if one school couldn't recruit a future Superbowl MVP QB while the other school was competing for an SEC championship.

That future Super Bowl MVP QB's dad was a legend at Ole Miss, and Archie's hand-picked coach was placed there. It's not like he had no connection to Ole Miss.

And, 3 years later, we were 3-8 and headed to 7 ****** seasons out of 8. They were busy going to bowl games while Eli was there, and had they not mistakenly hired Orgeron, would probably have been in better shape than they were the last few years. And now they are about to go 9-4 and kick the #7 team's *** in a nationally televised bowl game. We just fired our coach.

Any other horrible examples you'd like to offer?

many even from within the SEC will think that MSU beat TT in the Cotton bowl! Maybe that will get us some of those out-of-state "scholar" athletes!

As always, that statement makes your argument worthless, although it would still be worthless if you hadn't said that. MSU versus Ole Miss is a zero sum game, period.

OM/MSU are institutions of higher learning that field athletic teams, not religious sworn enemies or some ****. Jesus Christ, I hate LSU fans for being ********, but $$%$ man, that's intense.
