been blatantly accusing Ole Miss of cheating. Ive seen tweets all day about how everyone is convinced they are cheating, not going to be a fun month or two for their compliance department.

It's very simple.

You do not pull in that kind of class with their recent history of mediocrity without doing something shady. If State had done what they've done today, I'd be seriously worried about the impending sanctions from the NCAA.

We've been to 3 bowls in a row, brand new facilities, new stadium addition

a coach that has had national attention with major programs flirting with him. I can honestly say, if we had pulled what they just pulled, I'd say we have to be cheating.

Compare all that to what Ole Miss just came off of and you tell me how anyone (other than an Ole Miss homer) can tell me they didn't just cheat so bad it would make SMU blush.

If you'd like to hear more, Freeze is about to be on Dan Patrick's show.

ESPN has basically been a 3 hour advertisement today.

"Ole Miss Cheating" is a trending topic on twitter

just a sample from an NFL reporter (@albertbreer)

Do you think
<s style="text-decoration: initial; color: rgb(102, 193, 213);">@</s>CharlesRobinson is booking his flight to Oxford, Miss. right now, or already in the air?

Charles Robinson is a CBS sports investigative reporter.

I agree, usually you hear stories about how one team cheated or how the other school paid a parent or something to that nature and it never really leaves out of the state, or between the two schools for that matter...but this is being said by some very big names today. Dezmond Howard, Reece Davis, Jemele Hill - Around the Horn, and so on and so on. You know what they say, where there's smoke...there's fire.

After Lance Armstrong, Manti Teo, Ryan Braun, etc. The time of "the benefit of the doubt" is over. If something doesn't seem right, it's not.

The Cam Newon saga proved one thing: it's not a matter of what you are doing. It's a matter of being able to get away with it. I actually believe UM is not going to get into any kind of trouble for this. Next year, however, is a different story. You better believe that the big boys in the SEC are going to have private investigators around Oxford come next winter. Their plan is to haul in a good class this year and try to do so legitimately after a good 2013 season.

Agreed. Ole Miss is not going to get in trouble for this. But I don't think next year will be a problem for them either. UM is upsetting the applecart and I don't think anybody is going to be happy about turning recruiting into all out bidding war. But It's not like other schools are recruiting cleanly; it's just that UM is taking it to the next level. So I don't think other schools are going to get into a situation where they turn UM in for cheating more/harder/better than they do. I think either schools complain to Slive, and Slive tells UM to cool it because if every school goes all in, he's not going to be able to avoid NCAA problems, which basically gives UM a free year to clean up in recruiting. Or every school steps up the additional benefits, which is bad for UM and State long term, but still gives UM their free year.
