Anyone else tired of TO's just before the FG attempt?

complain about it as well, and he made a good point. He said there should be a rule that you cant call a timeout when the play clock is under 10 seconds on a field goal attempt. I think the NCAA should implement it

You know where the coach stands by the ref, the kicker sees the coach by him and assumes he's calling a timeout. Then, the playclock winds down and the holder calls for the ball and the kicker freaks the 17 out and shanks his attempt into a state trooper in the end zone because the timeout never comes.

Kind of like how in basketball you can't call time out when the 5-second count reaches 4 on an inbounds play.

Especially in the NFL.

Among the NFL's TV timeout schedule is a TV timeout after every extra point and a TV timeout after every kickoff. The total time between a touchdown and the next offensive play is almost as long as an NFL halftime (10 minutes).
