Got a room for two nights there averaging just $124 a night. For NYE that seemed very reasonable. Had pretty decent reviews and I figured since it's main clients were business types, there would be some openings around NYE and I was right. I know it's too far to walk to Dome from there, but there's a MARTA station nearby. Anyone been there before? The Hyatt Place Downtown is nice too....stayed there for Giants-Braves playoff game.

It is a very nice hotel. Pretty good location in that you can easily walk to a MARTA station. Plenty of food in the area but not really any bars. $124 is a great rate for the quality of the property.

I was on the Georgia Tech Hotel and Conference Center's website two nights ago and saw that rate, but of course I did not book it, figure I would wait until the next day to see how many of my group was going to go and now the rate has gone up. Please let me know if you are getting a better rate thru another website (Expedia, Orbitz et..). Thanks.

Good place. Decent size bar on lobby floor. Good restaurant with different kinds of buffett themes ... people from around town visit the place to eat lunch there.

Rooms are nice. Lobby/bar/restaurant area is nice. Good area - walking distance to plenty of restaurants and transportation. For that price, you are getting a good deal.
