It was basically abridged version of his book, The Revolution. That is his message and his belief, so what else did you expect? I thought he did an excellent job.

Haven't read the book. He said himself tonight that the "hot air" he was giving off was result of free speech. I knew he was radical, just not THAT radical. The man sounded like he wanted to completely dissolve government! I am all for smaller government but not to the extent he is pushing it.

so this doesn't get locked right off the bat:<div>
</div><div>1. Full/Packed house?</div><div>
</div><div>2. How long did he speak?</div><div>
</div><div>3. Any noteworthy figures there to introduce him or be acknowledged? i.e. Keenum, Mullens, etc.</div><div>
</div><div>4. Any open forum for questions at the end? If so I'm sure some interesting things were asked</div><div>
</div><div>Glad State got him to visit regardless of viewpoints, its great to have (past and potentially future) presidential candidates visit our campus. All it does is give us positive recognition. The last one I can recall was Huckabee who came for insurance day. To my knowledge, Paul wasn't paid as Huckabee (and Rove for that matter) were. He came because 2300 students, faculty and staff signed a petition to request this visit</div>

No sports figures there to intoduce him, and no Q/A session. This was just an opportunity for him to promote his 2012 candidacy.

There was a very good turnout for his book signing at Barnes and Nobles, and it was a capacity crowd when he spoke. We (I'm a member of Young Americans for Liberty) had some trouble getting the press access to Paul due to everyone in the Union being forced into the Dawghouse (a room/lounge in the Union where the press were going to meet Paul) due to inclement weather, but overall the event went almost perfect.

He didn't just stump for his book or speak a for half an hour. He spoke for over an hour, and he spoke about Austrian economics, individual liberty, and the importance of having a non-interventionist foreign policy. Anyone familiar with Paul wouldn't have been surprised at his message.

Everyone seemed to really enjoy his speech, and a lot of college-aged kids agreed with what was said.

To anyone that went ignorant for calling me crap when I bagged on Reagan, what I said is accurate, and Paul's consistent views backed by simplicity is actually defendable.

I don't agree with everything Paul says, but there shouldn't be anyone that each of us agrees with 100%. The man is an under appreciated idealist.
