I never go into Jackson downtown and I was wondering where the best place to park would be at the Jackson Convention Center. I know about all the shootings and killings so I would prefer to hopefully not get shot or robbed.
I've been to the psychout MMA stuff there. Just park in the lots directly across the street.
Don't worry about crime. Its felt safe the times I've been there. I'm convinced that all that is needed to make ANYWHERE safe is a sufficient number of decent people. Few if any gangstahs attend MMA. The place with packed with decent, not-gonna-mug-you people and it was plenty safe in and around the convention center.
