... just curious. I would think, at 7-3, Skyline has clinched a home game for the first round in two weeks????????

Re: Anyone got 3A East updated point ratings? Southampton #16?

The one on rivals has Southampton at 16 with 17.44 rating. Can somebody confirm which one is right?

Southampton picked up 2 points on Saturday (which I didn't update at the rivals link to this morning) from wins by Poquoson and Brunswick. So, by my calculations, Southampton is in 16th at 17.44444 with Warren County, John Marshall and Thomas Jefferson all at 17.33333 and Brentsville at 17.22222, etc.

Re: Anyone got 3A East updated point ratings? One more question.

If Southampton beats franklin, will that ensure a playoff birth or could other teams below them leap over them?

OK, thanks! Obviously, living out of state now, I have not followed as much as the past. Pretty tough when you're 7-3 and likely going to travel. That said, 3A East looks pretty tough.

A win will probably be good enough for Southampton, but I'm sure there are plenty of scenarios where teams below them could pass them even if they do win simply because it's so close right now.

I think it will be a little closer

with the Hawks at 22.8, because of the Saturday Handley game.
