We'll make the tourney and be in the discussion for hosting. If even slightly below average pitching last year, we'd hosted.
I'd play along but Hailstate.com still has Kellum Clark and Lane Forsythe on the 2024 roster they have posted so its obviously last years roster so I'm afraid I'd miss some guesses.
I'm pretty bitter, and I refuse to get my hopes up at all. Objectively, though, our pitching was so bad last year, and we still finished with a winning overall record. We gave up double digit runs in 16 SEC games, and we somehow won 2 of those.
Just clean it up on the mound, and our offense will win us a lot of games.
The 2024 roster wont be posted until the final cuts are made. Here is the fall roster, minus the guys that transferred out over Christmas break.
I can think of several really good ones, but, if On3 censors the word "*****" (no matter the context) on their boards I have no doubt they wouldn't allow my "raw" examples......

I've seen a lot of people saying Mershon at SS and Larry at 2B, and Cupp in the mix at DH. If we do that, go ahead and fahr Lemz.
Cupp should be the starting SS from day 1. If anyone should be DHing, it's Larry, with Mershon at 2B. Larry's arm is awful and Mershon is just a better fielder, so if Larry wants to play pro ball, he needs to work exclusively on hitting anyway.

Last season Mershon's fielding percentage was substantially worse than Larry. He made more errors than Larry with less than half the number of attempts.
