Anyone got that friend/relative that will never get over this?

I really am worried about my sister. She was a complete germophobe before all of this. This has her so freaked out that I think she may go the rest of her life as a shut in. I really do wonder if she will do things like go out to dinner anymore. And I'm talking years from now. Not next month.

There is no doubt germaphobes will become worse.

Some people probably will stop functioning. Never leave home or rarely.

She'd run out screaming, if she saw the dirty redneck in a wife beater today cough and sneeze into his hands and proceed to go into the store and get a cart.

I've got an aunt that's truly living in fear. I've seen people obsess over politics on television but this is turned up way worse. Her husband is helping limit her tv time and we hope it helps. I will add she has copd so this virus would be a death sentence.

Vaccine development, not just for this, will be ramped up quite a bit I assume. I've read several times before all of this theres been several "X" vaccines in testing. Meaning one vaccine can mutate to whatever virus, or one vaccine can protect against several different things, etc. I'm assuming much more investment will be put into these things afterwards.

These anti vaxx ppl need to be educated on their ignorance...or just let the problem solve itself.

I would like to think we’ll have learned a lesson about hygiene and sanitizing things. It’s been impressive to see how Kroger and Target have been addressing this. But perhaps moving forward, instead of having 4 people stocking dog foods, maybe always have an employee dedicated to sanitizing things? Just a thought...

“Have no idea”- me neither, but I’ll bet a year from now it will come to me. Times are a changing.
