It's just a game of washers that is fun with beer and a tailgate. I hardly think a piece of wood with an MSU logo on it would qualify as a microcosm of our redneck stereotype.

It's not that hard. You can find instructions on line and get 'official' MSU-colored paint at lowes or home depot. It took a buddy and me one beer-soaked sunday afternoon.

but it is not a substitution for horseshoes. easily the best "throwing something while drinking a beer" game.

10x more fun than horseshoes, but you need a good bit of real estate to make it work.

is that it's annoying as hell to everyone within 100 ft of you. There's nothing worse than spending a Saturday listening to washers slam onto wood boards.

You're confused about what cornhole is. Cornhole involves throwing bags filled with corn, hence the name cornhole, onto a sloped wooden platform with a hole in the center. No washers should be involved.

....without tripping over one of those damn things. It's just a bean bag toss. And to be the #2 center of attention on a football Saturday....GHEY.

cornhole is the next best thing at our tailgate.

Yeah the tv/satelite is great but if I wanted to watch a game on tv I would just stay at the house. The music is also nice but I just enjoy drinking and a little friendly competition

And to answer the original question: Build It, this is Mississippi if you do not know how to use a hammmer, saw, and a tape measure MOVE AWAY

mentioned in the thread.

Having never heard of a heterosexual game called cornholing, I looked it up. And it doesn't say anything about washers. So, here I sit - consfused.

with distance from Cincinnati and # of cornhole boards present at any outdoor event. It's sad to see the trend permeating so far south now.

Some friends of ours built it for me as a gift to our tailgate. It has the Interlocking MSU on one side and the M State on the other side depending on your preference. It is actually 2 boards hinged together with handles and everything. They make quite a few so I don't think it would be that hard.</p>
