I had heard Hofstra was snowed in more-or-less and the University may be looking for other opponents for the opening weekend. I have not found anything that confirms or denies this claim.
Anyone have an update on the Hofstra situation for the weekend?

They ain't coming. My guess is that the athletic department is working on another opponent and hopefully will have an announcement ready for the cow bell yell pep rally at 6:00.
