Hoping Westercamp and Ozigbo are ready to roll this week and not to mention if we're lucky TE Carter as well.
think we really need Carter. worried about how well he'll be able to block even if he can play though.
Jones was out twice and both times, back in the next series - probably cramping. I think Riley said Westy is running and will play against Bucky, he also made a comment somewhere last week that they are looking for Carter back for OSU. We will have to wait until tomorrow's PC to get the skinny on the OL MASH unit.
Badger LB Cichy is out. They have several others questionable. Big blow to them as he's a damn good LB.
I have no insider knowledge whatsoever, but from the video replay, I thought Cethan broke his arm, and was surprised when people were talking about him returning in a few weeks. I am beginning to suspect I might be right. Has anyone actually heard what Cethan's injury is?
I thought it looked more like a dislocation injury, but I have no knowledge and even less medical expertise.
He put his hand down on the ground to make a cut and his elbow hinged the wrong way. Hyperextension. Not pretty
Isn't that typical for 7 games into the season? And yes, Carter's injury was a hyper-extension. I don't recall how they labeled it, but it was the worst level of that kind of injury you can get, according to one report I read.
Caught a clip of him in the video interviews with a large brace on his arm. Needs to get that off asap.
I remember the game against OU in 1993. Trev Alberts hyperextended and dislocated his elbow. That injury affected him, according to an interview I read in 94, well into the next year. It all depends, of course, on how serious the injury is. But I suspect we are not going to see Cethan for a while.
