Found this statement at the end of a story in the CL about Nick James. Thought it seemed a little out of place within the context of the story but thought I would check and see if there was any buzz about it on here. I know we are getting new Adidas uniforms but have heard nothing about any Nike contract at all.

"There's been some indication from school officials that the renegotiated Nike contract could end up allowing for the school to receive "special" uniforms, but the long order time likely rules them out for the 2012 season."

He doesn't know what he's talking about on that statement. We're 100% adidas for at least the next year or two. Then, I'm betting we put our uniform contract up for bid.

Currently, OM is paid $2mil/yr by Nike, and we don't break even on Adidas(there was an article on clarion ledger that has now been archived, aka I can't see it). Needless to say, if they want to keep us beyond our current term, they are going to have to significantly increase the terms of the agreement.

Anyone remember when our contract with them ends?
