but what about the apocalyptic collapse by the bo sox. So the yanks spend 200 mil because they are realdouchers, sox 160, and the ray's like 40.

never understand how teams spending money makes them douches. So if MSU somehow ups our donations for athletics to the level of LSU/Bama/UF we are douches?
me hating the yankees and yes if you look back over 15 years in a sport with no salary cap and you have the highest payroll every year then you pretty much purchase championships (douchers). Ie Auburn last year....and maybe that didn't bother you.

In MLB, but you can't blame the Yankees that there isn't. Teams like The Yankees and Red Sox are what makes the game great. Stop bitching for the sake of bitching.
I am a rangers fan and I hate the yankee's....I can think of a thousand more reasons to hate the yankee's than a non existentsalary cap. respect the yankee's...not a chance.But hey, I like boston and they couldn't get it done with a 9 game lead.

No, I like the sox a lot. I like the phillies fine, I hate that they got Cliff Lee from the rangers because we needed him. I think the phillies are on equal financial footing with the yankee's so that could make for a great world series if they both get there.
There are millions who hate the yankees so this can't be a revelation to you? I don't hate them for playing the game...i am sure you love the way a rod "plays the game". I think Joe Torre was is a fine human being. Canoe has tons of talent. Riviera has been stronger mentally than anyone in the game holding the ball. It's uncanny.

What isn't understandable, is the reason they give (spending money). This isn't exactly against the rules. Now if they sat there and paid umps off or something like that, I could understand. What do the longhorns have to do with it. It is against the rules to pay players in college.

I hate the yankees for a thousand reasons.....money and capbeing only one. Yeah I like the sox over the yankees easily. the rangers are my team but we won't have the pitching to get to the series. I hate your players mostly...a-rod, swisher, posada, cano and this clemens fiasco (now clemens screams yankee attitudeto me). I respect jeter, and riviera's talentvery much. I just like pedroia, paps, ortiz, wake, varitek, and jacoby ellsbury. Boston is blue collar.I have been up there some.....I like the people and theteam acts like the city.
