Maybe the D has improved enough to help go 7-3 down the stretch. Regardless Lee-boy, as a TEAM looks like we outplayed the "vaunted" Louisville D.

Man I could go the rest of my life without hearing from Corso. He is on the list of my least favorite "football pundits" Lee-boy get out of here
Not sure why people are upset with Corso over that comment. The defense was playing at a pitiful level back when he said it stunk.
Same goes for Lunquist and Danielsen who were calling out UK during that Florida debacle. You can't fault them for saying negative things when things appeared to be bottoming out.
This was a near miraculous turnaround after how the season began. Chances are strong that most of the people who once dogged this team (including myself) have or will recognize that they are legit and could make a run at the East next season.

My problem with Corso is not over one little comment. No my problem with Corso goes back decades. He above any other football commentator goes out of his way to put down UK. You may be too young to remember. His hatred of all things UK is not even something he tries to hide.
ive never expected much praise from a former IU and UL coach.

I understand saying something like that defense needs a lot of work but to say they may be the worst of all time was totally inappropriate and uncalled for on national TV. That would have been wrong to say about any group of young men.
Somebody should bury that treasure.

Have to go along with Godfather most of the criticism from the media was unfortunately deserved. Had S. Miss down by 3 plus scores, Fl. who can't score we couldn't keep out of the endzone. But great job by Coach Stoops and the Staff they got "the thing" righted quick fast and in a hurry.
Corso and knight to bitter old IU coaches,easy to dislike both(very easy).
He is a bitter old fart who coached at UofL and IU. He is very similar to Bob Knight, who seems to lose a lot of brain cells daily.
They keep him on College Game day sort of out of loyalty, he seems slow to respond to certain questions, and is there for sentimental reasons only.

I think his schtick is old, but Corso isn't in the same hemisphere as bob knight. He annoys me, but more like an uncle I like but can only take so much of at holidays.
The dude did literally have a stroke a couple of years ago. He is doing the best he can.My guess is that ESPN has held onto him as some form of loyalty. He is harmless. Our defense was so bad when he said that...I sort of agreed. Credit the coaches and players for fixing it.
