Vast amounts of info folks....ty

Looks like there are, on average, 30 Million+ of us cutting a year these days.

Currently: Spectrum Gold + 400Mb hsd + voip about $170/mo.

Dropping cable will save us: over $116/month - streaming charges.

Just need to figure out which streaming service(s) to go with is going to be the challenge.

Appreciate your all's insight here...

Check with your cell phone provider. Most offer free Netflix or Hulu with an unlimited plan. I had free Hulu with Sprint, but recently switched to TMobile and it has free Netflix. I pay for Hulu myself and get both of them to go with my SLINGTV. I believe AT&T has some free channels from the Directv Now service, but not sure. I don't know what Verizon offers. Altogether with internet and all my streaming services I pay somewhere around $120 a month.

Been there and did that.... You need to compare streaming services and pick the one that fills your needs best. But It's my belief, given time, the streaming services will get greedy like cable/satellite services and screw themselves...
Folks will then take a hard look at 5G.

The only thing about Direct TV now as opposed to Youtube TV, Sling or Hulu Live is my girls can watch Direct TV now on their phones without using data.

Only the poors worry about data. If the family doesn't have unlimited everything, you don't live large enough to roll with this crew.
