That game and crowd was electric. You can tell our guys were tight and too much adrenaline in our early shots. We settled down in the second half. That’s the kind of atmosphere we want to be in the NCAAs.

Was great to see on TV. Awesome energy. Much more “big time” than the RAC.

Are you guys outta your proverbial mind? How close was this to a loss? Worst foul shooting of the year? Horrible shooting from the field? MSU got less fouls than RU at home. MSU intros. MSU fans at half court? We dodged the proverbial bullet. Never ever again!!!! At the RAC a double digit win.
Were you even at the game ? You’ve been crying about the venue and time for 2 weeks. If you didn’t go, I’d rather you just admit you were wrong about RU fans showing up.
I think the national exposure with one premier game at MSG worth it. Lots of folks think RAC is equivalent to a HS gym and think Rutgers can't win outside of it. MSG is polar opposite. Gives the team a massive national boost to show they can beat an MSU at MSG.

It actually wasn’t very close to a loss. From 5:50 on the win probability never dipped below 70%. Still should be considered a neutral court but these games a massive net win for Rutgers.

The number of people I know who went to the game today, who haven’t been there a game in 10 years, was stunning. That being said not a single one of them was to give up our home court advantage for a sterile, basketball/hockey type of arena. THE RAC is the greatest place in the country and Jersey Mike’s might want to think about using that in their sponsorship of the place. Wouldn’t be the worst idea in my humble opinion!

Lowest point in the last 5 minutes was 78.9% according to Bart’s model. This seems a little high (he is counting as a home game, for one thing, but also we were only up 2) but above 70% is probably right.
It was a complete and total RU takeover of the garden. We need to play here more. The RAC is great but we are big time now. Enjoy the ride.
