OKTIBBEHA COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) — Workers at the Campus Book Mart just off the MSU campus will spend Wednesday cleaning up after an early morning fire hit the building. East Oktibbeha Firemen answered the call on East Lee Boulevard just before 2:30 this morning. What they found was fire burning in the back of the buildings first floor. Crews were able to get the flames contained quickly but all three floors of the store suffered extensive smoke and water damage. Firemen from Bells Schoolhouse and the Starkville Fire Department also helped fight the fire.
