Anyone see the Braves/Phillies game earlier today?

4 relief pitchers for both teams pitched perfect through 3 full innings before someone gave up a hit (for the Braves). I'm going to refrain from getting too excited because the all-star break seems to be the point when some teams stop playing, but the Braves have been playing some sick baseball from a defense/pitching perspective. They won today, but if they can somehow manage to find some hitting, they will be one of the best teams in baseball this year.

It was Sherrill that gave up the first hit. Top of the 11th braves scored 1 from a gonzo single then McCann had a beautiful at bat fouling of a few pitches in a row before hitting a 2 run HR. What has me excited is the way Uggla has been looking lately. He actually hit a liner to RF the other day and got an easy double since the RF was almost in right center. I believe that was the only time I've seen him go that way all year.

Freddie Freeman has been hitting well, Uggla is getting better. Schafer understands his role as a leadoff man. McCann has been great.

Getting a right-handed bat that can play shortstop and outfield would be huge for the Braves.
