We played hard, we lost Hood for the 2nd half, and Kentucky hit shots in the 2nd half. They played great 2nd half defense. Pissed we didn't win, but we just played the #1 team in the country their 2nd toughest game of the year. Without Hood we are a different team, but I think we played well tonight. Wished we hadn't switched to zone at the end, but other than that, I'm not gonna complain.

The best team in the country played like it in the 2nd half, and they are better than us. Those who think we should close out every game we lead at the endare just unrealistic. Wasn't going to happen against a team like Kentucky. They have too many weapons for us to match up against.

Sorry. Perhaps, if we had not lost to UGa at home, lost to LSU after leading 30-13, and lost by 10 to Auburn this might be different. But we just can't win a big game or even beat an average SEC team lately.

We play with effort like that, and have the best college basketball team in the country on the ropes, but we lose to Auburn, Georgia and LSU and now find ourselves squarely on the bubble two weeks after being in the running for a 4 or 5 seed.

Saturday is an NCAA play-in game. Stans better get them ready. I guarantee you Grant will have em ready.

But just because we had to hang our hopes on beating the #1 team in the country doesn't mean we have to lose perspective. They have one loss on the season. Just because it was a must win doesn't mean we need to be pissed off about tonight. Be pissed off about the situation we put ourselves in over the last 3 games, but don't be pissed off we lost or didn't close out against the #1 team in the country.Not talking about you in particular, just the situation in general.

I said it earlier in the day and knew it would happen. These kids who were outmanned played their guts out but it doesn't matter to any of you. We have no depth and rodney's injury hurt us badly. T V Teddy did his usual job too but Ky is really good and they hit big shots in the 2nd half plus lived at the line and knocked them down .
