Anyone watch the bowl preview show on ESPN last night?

When they got to the Gator Bowl, they talked about Michigan and Rich Rod for about 10 minutes before ever saying the words "Mississippi State". Never showed a single MSU highlight or mentioned a single one of our players by name. Then at the end of the segment, they picked us to beat Michigan by 14.

They did praise Mullen and say we were lucky to have him though.

Does this surprise you? They've got a bowl game to pimp. They want people all over the country to tune in. Which team do you think they'd highlight the most? And no, people across the country don't care that we are ranked. They care about what's going on at one of the most visible football programs in history. Stop looking at this stuff as actual game analysis and start thinking about it as marketing. You'll get less irritated with stuff like this.

I do it often so you have plenty of material I'm sure.

Now I gotta cancel those rooms in Atlanta.

You misunderstand. The Michigan talk didn't bother me. I was laughing at the fact that they talked about Denard Robinson and Michigan for 10 minutes and then picked them to lose by two touchdowns to a team that they did not even know the name of a single player.

That was confidence points. They ranked the bowls from highest confidence (35) to lowest (1). Two of the analysts had us in the high twenties, but the guy with the board had us ranked 14 (thus, lower half.) This was also a show to pimp their fantasy game "bowl mania" where you do the same thing.
