Some of you folks that are blasting posters that do have contacts with some sort of knowledge need to realize that things change during the course of the day when negotiations are being made. At one point, I was pretty sure it was going to happen based on what I had heard. But apparently something changed. Not the end of the world, there are still quite a few great candidates out there if this doesn't work out. I don't think the door is closed all the way, though.

that petersen was not and will not be coming. I got called an ******* for posting it this afternoon. My source has never said otherwise.

People like Gene, Michael, Veaz,etc. cannot say anything IF they have find out. They have been instructed by the AD. That is why they are squashing all the rumors. I have 100% faith that Petersen will be our coach. He has accepted and is just waiting til after this weekend, i.e. SEC champ game. So yes, still going with my source. </p>
