I asked the coaches to make one good point why we shouldn’t be ranked and they made three points
Can't really complain about ranking when you lose by almost 30 at home. We haven't played like a top 25 team in a while.
Exactly. Honestly, I felt we were overrated before last week, thinking we should have been closer to 20. And that’s when I thought we had a good shot at beating Mizzou and an outside shot at beating Bama.
We deserve to be unranked now. Just hoping we prove in the coming weeks that we deserve to be ranked again. I think we’re capable but have to play much better than we have in the last month.

Saturday was enough to say State does not belong even in the NIT. But we do have wins over Memphis, Vandy and Ole Miss. Maybe we will have some new life at Georgia Saturday after having this Wednesday off. Maybe most of the new transfers will actually WANT to play a basketball game at Georgia. They sure as hell did not want to last Saturday, it was painfully obvious.
That's quite a nosedive. Why did Houston go up 1 while losing at home (by only 1 in overtime, but a loss nevertheless)?
That seems a little extreme but I did just finish watching Pitt lose to a not so great UVA team by 20 at home. Fun to watch "big win" at the time but not aging real well.
Just saying I can see coaches seeing huge red flags from our game Saturday. We will most likely recover and win a few down the stretch but from what we saw Saturday we could also lose every remaining game.

Sheeeeiiiiitttt. We go TO Ga? For whatever reason, as bad a basketball program as they are, we never win there when we absolutely have to. And, they’re not horrible this year.
I know what I won’t be doing this Saturday, so I appreciate the heads up.
They rolled over Saturday easily like I haven't seen all season. If that's a sign of things to come, then let's all just empty the stands and go watch baseball instead. Or any women's sport, at least they try
