AP poll not out yet, but the Hump Dogs aren't ranked in the USA Today/Coaches Poll

Came in at 26 with 58 first place votes. 4-0 Creighton got the nod over us and they haven't beaten anyone. Texas A&M is 24 and Arizona 23. I know it's immaterial at this point at the season, but how exactly do those two teams get ranked ahead of us after we beat them on neutral floors? We'll see what the AP poll says tonight I guess.

..after watching Arizona & Texas A&M, I see where Arizona has top 25 coaching & ability.


But ranking Texas A&M is a joke.


Keep in mind the only way Texas A&M beat St. Johns was a St. Johns player missed 2 FT's at the end of the game. One FT would have tied it & 2 FT's would have won it for St. Johns.

But as currently constructed, no, they are not a top 25 team. And Billy Kennedy just looks awful. Like he's moving in slow motion.

Make them earn it...

Before you argue, yes, we had a great run last week... but, if we're honest, we haven't done anything YET to deserve the love.

PLUS, if past history holds true, we are going to need the fire under our asses all year long. Stans has proven that he has difficulty keeping the players motivated... maybe a chip on the shoulder, "us against the world" attitude will do it.
