We went 3-0 last week I expected to drop to at least 20
Uhh, I think he was kidding. Why would we drop 5 spots after trouncing three teams, one of which was an ACC road game?
I'm surprised we stayed in the top 25.We went 3-0 last week I expected to drop to at least 20

We're NOT losing to Wake!!! Manning is on the bench, not on the court. We'll lose more ground after the Wake loss.
I'd say for the rankings in the AP, it's about right, for where we are in the season. The coaches having us at 10 in my opinion is not accurate. I don't think we're a better team than Miami for instance, and in both polls they should be ahead of us. I'm trying to stay realistic with this team, the loss of Jefferson really really hurts this team.I'm still not buying the Wake loss either. I guess it wouldn't shock me, but Wake is a pretty young team too. Just have this feeling Ingram has a big game. We'll need to neutralize Devin Thomas....which I know isn't easy.
As for the rankings....we're probably right about where we should be.

After last year's loss, I think the coaches will have Duke ready for this one.
I think we'll be ok if we can defend the fast break, which at times this year we've struggled quite a bit.

We didn't lose to Wake last year, unless i'm missing something in your post.
After a few top10 teams in the nation is there really much difference in the next say, 10 or 15 teams?
Sorry, my memory ain't what it use to be. That loss just seemed to sting more than others.Yeah. That was the Jabari campaign.
Kills me that KU has played 11 guys in 15 minutes. I know it's not K's preferred method, but Duke is stuck at 6.5 man rotation (without Amile).
This Oklahoma-Kansas game is really something.
Both teams went to a 5 man TOPS 6 man rotation the last 7-8 min of the game before the OTs, in which they stuck with the same 5-6 guys, until one of them fouled out.I think there is something to be said about playing too many guys. Duke's problem this season is that the depth is either too young or not quite talented enough. Help is coming next year. The bench will be bigger.
How about Malik Beasley? That could impressed the hell out of me last night. Love his game.It was an incredible game. I had my doubts about Oklahoma....but they're for real. Hield just made one big shot after another.
I talked in another thread about how we witnessed two great performances last night from Brice Johnson and Buddy Hield, but yet other players had spectacular games too --- Paige, Rathan-Mayes, Ellis and Woodard --- but no one is talking about those guys. As a college basketball fan it was a pretty fun night....that certainly could have been even better with an FSU victory.
