RU nowhere to be seen in the Top 25. However, CVS already stated she would never accept another invitation to the WNIT!
We'll see at the end of this season if a NCAA invite makes never accepting another invitation to the WNIT a mute point.
For me it's the NCAA or bust this year and even a WNIT tourney appearance won't have me not seriously thinking about posting: in my opinion it's time for change.
Doesn't matter now, end of season is what counts. Is Rutgers in the top 50?

Season is still young and a lot of RU WBB fans haven't given up hope.“NCAA invite”?? Didn’t we just get handily beaten in 3 of our last 4? Including a 10-point loss to Duke? Ooops I mean DRAKE??!!!
She got her 1000. Yay. Can we move forward now?

Those who want CVS gone might have decided season is over.
I expect RU to make the Dance and will settle for nothing less.OK so what are your expectations after three of the last four games? Realistically? One and done in the Big Ten tournament again? Another season without playing beyond that? And then, what, say “oh well she’s earned the right to be back again next year”???
Just curious.
I just want to chip in that I am really on the same page as MadHat. I know that Drake and Gonzaga (and even VPI) are quality teams this season, I do know that we have injuries and a suspension, but - I still would feel a lot better if we had won one or more of them. My biggest concern with the team - over the last number of seasons - has been that we no longer seem to win the games that we might be a bit of an underdog but won in the past when we were a perpetual NCAA team. The bad season 2 years ago, we didn't even win the games we should have, that's different. But the best that can be said is our losses are not "bad" losses. They are still losses.OK so what are your expectations after three of the last four games? Realistically? One and done in the Big Ten tournament again? Another season without playing beyond that? Yes, to a point. We have played a weak schedule, and so have (for the most part) the teams we have played. The remainder of our OOC schedule is unlikely to be helpful, although winning (inherently) is the best thing you can do for your RPI.rpi is like 122 right now, I know its early but the SOS isnt helping as much as people think..our wins are over bad teams
