Apathy is here without a doubt

And apathy is in some ways worse than anger. Anger is emotional and short lived and typically gives way to hope against hope that things will get better. Apathy is a MF'er. Apathy leads to empty seats and empty collection baskets.

I do not know what the answer is, but I have seen enough to know what the answer isn't, and that is this aggregate coaching staff. I now expect to see us struggle mightily both physically and mentally to defeat the cream puffs on the schedule. I also expect a complete *** kicking at the hands of any "decent" team on the schedule. I cannot really enjoy watching victories such as those against BGSU and UK when those games were akin to failed abortions. Because I now know the outcome against any ranked team, I don't find them worth watching or attending. Good Lord please make this stop. There must be somewhat of a shakeup on this coaching staff before next season. And meanwhile as we watch this charley foxtrot week after week, we hear that our esteemed athletic director is negotiating a contract extension for one Dan Mullen. It's **** like this and the fact that we employ the ultimate cock blocker in one Bracky Brett that makes me doubt my sanity for giving hard earned money to the AD. If this were a company run by a similar inept and incompetent board of directors, I sure as hell wouldn't invest in that company's stock. It often seems as if our AD doesn't know what the hell they are doing and have no bidness even attempting to play the game with the big boys. Holy ****, pass the Tylenol.

If we don't make the move with Mullen at the end of this year, it's pretty much a sure thing we get at least two more years of it. That is pretty uninspiring.

The team will tell the administration when to pull the trigger. When/if they lay down he`s toast...that`s the way it works.

This is my favorite thing going on the boards right now. "We have to fire him! He's going to win too many games next year!" Before anyone tries to explain it, I get what you are saying. It is just funny.

WE could win 6 without even going through spring and wiht no coaching..probably

This is what I fear the most. WE stink now. Then we "stay the course", then win a false 8 next year. It will be kind of like this:

I will admit it. I went hunting today and for the first time since the Croom era I did not text anyone to find out the score until after the game was over. Playing decent in the first half and getting blown out in the second appears to be our new way of operating against quality opponents. I guess this is better than last year when we started the games getting blown out.

I watched the whole game, but may just go to the woods from here on out. I am just sad, cannot believe we are where we are. Baseball is all that keeps me going.

That's my line.

I've started telling everyone we are a baseball school.
