EMCC top receiver is on board.

Apparently the recruits who were wavering aren't anymore

Bumphis is pumped

Mullen to visit our school next about shoring up Shumpert.

Mullen could be the Bear or John Vaught of MSU if these good news reports keep up.

is that he's not even considering Florida anymore because the only reason he was going there was because Mullen was recruiting him. Of course he liked Percy Harvin too. I expect us to finish with Langston, Bumphis, Thames and Lampley. Pretty dang good class and finish in February. Also, I expect these guys to contribute next year. Mullen won't waste a guy that runs a 4.4 because he can't pass block or run a route with the precision of Jerry Rice. He will get these guys in space and get them the ball. Could you imagine Bumphis out wide and Croom wasting him like we did Delmon Robinson or Arceto this year. That won't happen.

Im as wooly as the next guy about Mullen, but lets let him win first before throwing out these kinds of analogies.

From the way it sounds, we may land Bumphis, Patterson, and Russell..Think about having those three for 4 years.

Both are capable of starting immediately. And *if* McRae comes back completely healthy, we should have at least 3 legitimate SEC WRs. It should be fun watching those guys 1-on-1 with an overmatched LB or DB.

is that we will land Thames. Does that mean that we'll get Clayton Moore as well. I remember Yancy saying that they were a "package deal". (sarcasm)

is saying he is back on board with MSU. He wants to be closer so his family will see him play without a lot of travel. The only reason he de-committed was the awful offensive scheme Croom put on the field.

I am excited at the prospect of simply hanging on to a quarterback (any quarterback!) for 4 years.

We burned a redshirt for a guy that runs a 4.7 who was supposed to be explosive?....that has to be wrong.

He actually decommitted right after personally witnessing our offensive explosion against Auburn. However, your point stands.

Where did you see that, or read that? When I saw him play this year he looked pretty fast.

Don't know how I forget about Delmon and "Secret Weapon" Clark. Make that 5 legitimate SEC WRs. Scary, isn't it?

this year. Well, the one that went for 10 yards. Didn't look like a 4.7 to me, but his run might have been wind aided.
