... no one during the game had possession of the ball. The SEC is smart, they leave some room for interpretation such as:

"A player shall be deemed to have possesion of the ball when the combination of the pauli repulsion and electromagnetic forces of a player's atoms in his hands are utilized in such a way as to demonstrate concious control over the motion of the football. A player is deemed to not have possesion if: a) He does not demonstrate concious control over the motion of the ball or b) He is a member of a team not called Florida or Alabama."

I have several more ideas for physics related football humor, but I fear that dbb49 and myself will go off on a wild physics tangent if I start them now...
