DR's downfall has been lack of a good passing attack. When Trey Edmunds was a freshman they should have gone with a Spread offense and stuck with it throughout the years.

NOT TO MENTION...Edmund brothers Father has been the head coach for years. He lives and dies on a poorly ran I Form with no passing game. Not trying to be mean, but its time to make a change at Head Coach but Dan River will NEVER get rid of this guy because he brings in talent for football and basketball out of Danville. I heard that from many fans in stands during a basketball game FROM DR.

5a and can't play 0A very very poorly coached and can only field a team of 31 players at a school that has 1500 or more dtudents.final score Dan 20, Halifax 19 lmao

Halifax and Franklin County both should be better than they are.

As for I formation, no team should run that these days.

Yep. They've gotten some of GW's best young talent and didn't do anything with it.

There are MANY high school teams who do very well with it, there are MANY D1 AND lower college teams who do well with it (pretty sure Alabama runs at least some I, NFL teams run it.

Just because you don't like it, and only want to see a spread, doesn't mean it isn't effective and shouldn't be run.

This statement is just as bad as EVERY team should run a spread

From the time Stuarts Draft played them, they weren't coached well, but had athletes. And you mentioned their I. Their I is bad because of the alignment of it. You can't be successful year after year with your TB being 8-10 deep in backfield.
