simple math tells you that its going to make unsuccessful coaches look overpaid...which a lot are.
And vice versa.

What is this statsupposed to mean? I feel like im watching ESPN and they are telling me yet another stat that has no bearing on anything.

when your coach sucks and gets paid too much - like Croom. It's a great excuse for firing somebody - like Croom. He had an astronomical earnings/win.
