When you come out of the gate as slow as we did and lose home series to teams with losing records like Western Carolina, the margin for error is much smaller. Is this loss devastating? No, but it does hurt and it puts a lot more pressure on winning the rubber match with Creighton.

Of course the 2001 and 2005 teams could afford to drop 1 or 2 games to Creighton, and did. This team is attempting to urinate away its RPI/at-large chances.
