Croom saw all along what everyone else could not; that being, Clark is THE SECRET WEAPON. (Sarcasm: 86'd)

I was thinking he transferred. (which is what I would do if my dubmass coach burned a year of eligibility for one play)</p>

He was academically ineligible last year and took a redshirt. He is back this year and from what I hear could be the "secret weapon" Croom prophesied but didn't know how to use.

Not sure why this false rumor persists here that Clark only played in one play or something. He played in the rotation on offense in the last four games of the season, though he didn't touch the ball as much as he probably should have.<div>
</div><div>Of course, since he had to sit all of 2009 anyway, it didn't end up hurting him.</div>

From mstateathletics.com:

Played five games during his true freshman season . . . After not seeing
action in the season’s first seven weeks, he saw game work in the final
five . . . Rushed three times for 21 yards, a 7.0-yard average . . .
Also caught three passes for 11 yards, a 3.7-yard average.
