Are the replies to threads always out of order for you?

Anybody else have this problem? Every thread has the replies all out of sync. I have to look at time stamps to follow the thread.

Yeah...I've noticed that recently. Anybody else? Do I need to change a setting?

Haven't notice that but what I've noticed lately is that there may only be a few replies showing to a post but then when I click on it to see the thread, there may be many more that didn't show up in the front page view.

Go here and change your thread display mode to "Linear - oldest first". I like it on hybrid b/c I click on "mini-threads" and then I will only see the replies I want to see. Yea - I know it's confusing but it's what we grew up on.

If you want it simple like most other boards - go to the bottom left of this page and change to Topic View. Then make sure your thread display mode is "Linear - oldest first"

That's the one thing I liked about the move to vbulletin - it left the option up to the user.

That's where I see a new conversation middle of a thread

Click on the first post and read everything under that post. That's how I still read, and why I still miss the "new" tag, but I can usually tell what's new. Without threaded/hybrid view I don't know how people understand what's going on. And the quote of a quote of a quote of a quote thing is annoying. I still prefer old school way.

/and I wore an onion on my belt, as was the style at the time

Old sps was the only threaded view I liked. I have it topic now. Don't know if its possible on Vbulletin but one thing I love on TD is the how it says "replied to". Makes it much easier to follow a topic view thread without having to quote. That said, not bitching. Love the new sps setup.
