Stanek's control has been here and there, but seriously...we don't even look like we want to swing on a full count.

We had these guys on the ropes, but the inability to be aggressive late in the count is costing us. I'm a little tired of our guys making a move to first base on a 3-2 count only to get rung up. I don't think the home plate ump is thrilled either.

Some of our guys are just not aggressive enough with the count in our favor.

that we're playing a future first rounder here. He's made some incredible late-count pitches today.

At any rate, it's highly unlikely we see a better pitcher for the remainder of the season... maybe Gausman from LSU if they go with him tomorrow, assuming we hold on here...

and a fair amount of those were very close - a thought a few were low but the ump has given a big outside corner and low zone all day
