The SEC has 10 bowl tie-ins
Forsures: Georgia, USC, LSU, Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn

No we're not bowl eligible. If the SEC can't fill the bowl slot the bowl then takes an at large team. If there are no 6 win at large teams available, then they can drop to a 5 win team. That scenario will not be a factor unless more bowl games are added, and no teams move up to D-1, or whatever it's called now.
