Are we changing bats this year?

I'm not familiar with Adidas bats... does anyone else use them? Are they new to the game? Any idea how they compare to the Eastons?
I think we're the only team in the country (or one of the only teams) to have this bat deal with Adidas.
Supposedly they're better than the Easton bats and are right on the edge of the BBCOR standards. Prepare yourself to hear Mainieri and other SEC coaches ***** about how our bats are cheating this year.

And Cohen told us at camp last week that these bats cannot be purchased yet, they are not on the market.

Rumor is Adidas is doing a small/controlled launch. I don't think it would be legal for us to use bats that weren't available to the general public on some level. So, they are going to put a few out and stay backordered on Eastbay until they are positive that the bats don't break in past BBCOR standards. They are that "hot" from the factory...
But they won't go away. The black or gray t-shirts that the team wears during scrimmages has that same pattern on them, and I'm pretty sure that I've seen photos of kids at our baseball camps wearing them.
I'm glad someone raised enough hell that we never had to wear them in a game, but they need to go away for good.
For years, LSU had first crack at Easton's new bats at a time when they could make them more and more powerful with BBCOR standards limiting them. Add to that LSU's players use of PED's, then nobody at LSU needs to be complaing about cheating. All of their championships deserve an asterisk.
