Woke up last night freezing and the temps outside were unusually cool. And it looks to be this way for the next couple weeks......or maybe here on out until winter. Who knows. Needless to say AZST is going to catch a big break from our normal Mississippi weather next Saturday night. It appears it will be somewhere in the mid 60's or even cooler after the sun goes down. Great weather for the fans, but I was hoping to see some Sun Devils go through some real sweat.

Temps are expected to be below normal through at least the middle of September. Talking with some of the guys on the team and we're cautiously optimistic we've seen the last of the brutal hot and humid conditions this season. Now certainly not going to to say we've seen our last 90 degree day. The record for the latest 100 degree day is 10/2 for Starkville.

ASU will be wearing new ultra cool shoulder pads for our game.
Has cooling coils built inside so no issues with any heat and humidity for them coming into MS in late summer!

I work outside. There have been days this summer that some men have gone down throwing up, cramp so bad that they writhe around on the ground, and have dizziness, etc. At 10:30 in the morning. And these are healthy guys in their teens and 20s.

Last summer, August actually had some mornings in the 60's, and then September took us back to hell. I'll take anything we can get as far as relief. I'm thankful to God for it.

What kind of ship are you running over there? Rolling around on the ground and heat strokes. Get them boys some electrolytes and water

Ive been working outside all summer since HS and this summer was the worst I can remember. There was a 2 week stretch where I went through at least 3 shirts every day

I'm loving this break in the weather! That said, even if it was going to be 95, that won't bother ASU. It gets extremely hot out there.

Don't worry, it will be back in the mid 90s by October 1 when bow season starts. It's like the week before football season starts, I always say I'm not hunting this year until the temps drop, but opening day, my dubmass is out there excited. But I'm sweating so much that every deer in a 2 mile radius can smell me.

You simply cannot drink enough water or electrolytes. I'm right next to them setting the pace at twice their age. I truly do not understand why it affects some worse than others.

Can you put in for some cool temps in October for bow season please?

Early fall knows when the bulldog home games are and will refuse to appear. But the team can use that to their advantage by being better conditioned for it.

I heard this same story about Oregon when they came here and beat us in '03. According to AI it was 90' that day for them. My wife and I went to Eugene Oregon for the game in '02. There was frost on the ground the morning of the game in the Willamette Valley mountains

it is cooler and it is due to socio-economic influencers of Climate change, and we need to vote democrat and build more windmill farms and clear cut forests for solar farms...........I refuse to believe that the earth is a living breathing organism that experiences changes and adjustments and heals itself........

Yeah, 100% correct. It dives down into the 50's after sundown. T-shirts in the day.....Sweatshirts at night.
Depends on where you are in Arizona. Flagstaff is cool at night. I was in Yuma once and at sunrise it was 95. Low humidity tho. I played golf when it was about 113. Wasn't bad, but pulling an iron out of the bag could burn your hand.

In the western areas where the elevation is higher it is typical to have more variation between day time highs and night time lows. I believe the higher elevation makes it easier for the day time heat to fade come nightfall. I am currently following the temps in NE Utah where I will be chasing mule deer in 3 weeks. Days in upper 80’s and 90’s and nights in lower 50’s and in some cases upper 40’s. Big difference day to night! We will be at higher elevations and anticipate 60’s and 70’s for highs and 30’s and 40’s for lows. It should be glorious!
