Are we more talent deficient at TE than any other position?...

...I think so. And that's saying something considering how bad we are at kicking the football where we want it to go. Still, our TE play has been
absolutely nonexistent this year. No route running, no pass catching, no blocking and our best TE play has been by a walk on.

Are we worse anywhere else?

Well Green was supposed to be our pass catching tight end and he's been hurt. Henderson has come on lately as well.

I think it's hard to judge Hurst and Cook b/c they are true freshmen but I think they're both going to be fine in time.

However, we certainly lacked depth there and it's hard to believe we didn't sign a JUCO within the past two years to account for the fact that we were going to graduate 3 solid ones in the same year.

postion to be a key component of the West Coast offense (along with a quarterback). But then again, we are an I-Formation team...or maybe a spread-option from the shotgun kind of team...who the hell knows?

No sure that is matters. We had a great TE (D. Lee) and didn't use him enough if I remember correctly.
