Minny will be ranked this week. So I would not put that much importance on who is ranked and who isn’t in the B1G. Every game is a b&$#%

The flip side is, though the conference will have a lot of teams ranked, it’s likely no teams makes the top 5

It's like that for every team. I was just on the Rutgers board, and 10 of their next 13 games are against teams currently ranked. Just have to hope you can snatch an occasional win on the road and try to hold service at home. At least they won't have to face huge hostile crowds this season.

In my view the weakest teams in the B1G, as of now, are:
Nebraska
Maryland
Minny
PSU
Purdue

All debatable, of course, but we do not play any of them twice. And we play 3/5 away. That’s not a great schedule. One game at a time, one game at a time

Yep, and that's what makes the Big Ten what it is. Not just a marquee team or two, but it is pretty much annually the flagship top-to-bottom conference in America.
