I’m pulling for NC State over Purdue because I’ve never liked Purdue
Normally I wouldn’t be pulling for any ACC teams but NC State is a good story. To Hades with Alabama & UConn. Purdue? Meh.
11 seed qualifies to me. No final 4 since 1983, 40 years!
I am pulling for the ACC because of how underrated they were, but why does a conference who only got 5 teams in the tournament get put in the same regions? Should have spread the ACC out imo.
Rather see an ACC team win than a Big 10, SEC, or Big East team. So yes I’m cheering for NCSU. Plus the Burns kid is fun to watch.
ACC Commissioner Jim Philips and DJ Burns of NCST are both calling out the NCAA for their selections. No conference in recent history or past history has had more success in the NCAA Tournament than the ACC. Yet only 5 teams were invited to the Tournament and 3 out of 5 make it to the Sweet 16. As posted above why did they have Duke and NCST paired together?
Conference success is huge for each member institution; so yes, I pull for every ACC school in every tournament.
