Arella had some minutes in the Chicago pre-season/exho game against a short=handed Brazilian team and played well. She mostly distributed the ball, but the other players mostly missed their shots. I don't remember her driving to the basket from the sidelines along the baseline, but she had some nice moves in the game. Based on watching only the one game against a non-WNBA team, it will be tough for Arella to make the roster. I will be rooting for her, though.

Maybe an opportunity with all the expansion teams joining the league. New teams announced in Portland, Toronto, and Oakland/San Francisco. Patrick Mahomes and his wife are trying to get a team in Kansas City. Locally, Comcast and the 76ers are likely to get one for Philadelphia, especially with a new arena already approved at the Sports Complex.
