Funny how your memory works….or doesn’t. For some reason I was thinking it was an 80 yd TD.

I know the ending was very exciting but was it really that good of a game though? State scored a bunch early and then it was pretty much a slog until the last TD.

That ref did everything he could to make the tackle. Thompson just flat out ran him. He broke science that day, for sure.

Still makes me laugh....the mom holding the boy like a sack of potatoes and pounding her fist in the air.....the little boy is like, "mom....your squeezing me too hard!"
Highlight of the year......not much after that.
