1. I know there have been some complaints about the "rustic" element of our fanbase that ESPN chooses to show during our home games. But let me tell you, the most rustic of our rustic have nothing on these Arkansas cousin lovers. God bless those folks.

2. I'm impressed that Lebby has managed to keep the locker room with three losses of the type we've experienced. An Arnett team would have quit. A Moorhead team would have quit. Late era Sherrill teams quit. There were games under Mullen against the big boys where I thought we quit. There is no quit here.

3. There is a lot of talk about the penalties yesterday, but show me one that they didn't deserve. It shouldn't be a shock that the team coached by the guy who was previously run out of town for his lack of discipline would coach an undisciplined team.

4. We did not play well and still found a way to win an SEC road game. We've played better ballgames and lost this year. It's clear we have to get Reese back to run the ball.

5. I love that KT came in and did some good things, but I do see why Lebby is sticking with Shapen. KT throwing the ball is an adventure. Sometimes it's amazing, and sometimes he hits a defender hit the hands who fortunately drops it or misses a short route by 12 feet.

6. Hunter Washington. Good gracious, there has to be a better option.

7. We're going to beat Mizzou or OM. See y'all late December in Memphis.

I agree all of the penalties against Ark were warranted, but also, refs do not like Bobby P. Have we ever been the recipient of that many calls?

The portal outflow last year helped. There were some "all about me" players that are gone. Im glad to see we got some fight.

Saw my wife's liberty bowl shirt yesterday and thought "well here we are again, and damn happy to consider a trip to mempho "

15 penalties against Arkansas in the second half. If I was an Arkansas fan, I would probably be screaming about an SEC conspiracy, too.

Every penalty called was justifiable, but imagine if those calls had been made against State.

No telling what Petrino was saying on the sidelines, but a penalty against the coach in that situation is rare.

The targeting call wasn't even called on the field. It looked like a good, hard hit on KT, and both players got up to play again. It was a crown of the helmet hit, and I guess it met the definition of targeting, but you would have to be pissed about the booth calling it..

When they hit our player out of bounds, its a flag. When we hit their player out of bounds, well, the hit was initiated in bounds. I agree with both calls, but I can see Arkansas whining about it.

And unnecessary roughness for tackling a guy?

Again, I think every flag was justifiable....but I understand Arkansas fans being upset about it.

That last flag....I just knew they were gonna call horse collar tackle or something on State.

It seems to me like we've been scrod fewer times this year than in the past. Maybe it's because we didn't play Alabama; if so, it'll be back to normal next year.

Very much agree on #1. Went to a State-Arkansas game at Arkansas once. It's like I stepped into a time warp to the 70's. Those were the most "rustic" group of people I've ever seen Very strange group they are.

Arkansas fans in general have always stood out to me as the strangest and most unhinged in the conference. They make the stereotypical bourbon bottle throwing LSU fan come across as a gentleman.

Only call they missed was late hit on us in the 40-yard run & that one was meaningless since they scored on the next play anyway. The rest were easy. Especially the one on Petrino. I don’t know when I’ve seen an SEC team & coach that undisciplined. They had the game won & just gave us 45 yards in a matter of seconds. Let us back in the game & then we made them pay.
